Twitter is an internet service which allows people to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick messages of 140 characters or less.
NHS Buckinghamshire has now joined Twitter, this means we can post links to specific sections of our website, such as jobs, news or the minutes of our latest board meeting to anyone who chooses to follow us.
We can also contact our followers with unique up-to-date information (called tweets) on services, meetings and events as well as health campaigns like ‘stop smoking’.
If you’re on Twitter, why don’t you click here to follow us?
We’d also like to know what you think of our Twitter feed. Is there anything else we can use Twitter for? How can we use it better?
Send us a reply or message on Twitter, or contact us.
We also have our Keep in touch guide to new media for you to download.
