Find an NHS dentist

Everyone is entitled to visit an NHS dentist however you may have to travel to do so. You do not have to live within the dentist’s local area to for an appointment, so if it’s more convenient you can visit a dentist closer to your place of work.

The number of dentists accepting new NHS patients changes regularly depending on the number of people on their register. New NHS spaces become available when, for example, people move away or stop attending. Contact the dental practice and they will tell you when the next available appointment is.
